this beautiful wedding was a lot of firsts for us. our first wedding in mexico (one of our favorite countries), our first batman ring bearer, our first couple to smear cake all over each other's faces, our first wedding with fireworks (those weren't planned), our first wedding with a tequila bottle-weilding bride, our first wedding with a mariachi band, our first wedding with a salsa band, our first wedding with its own midnight taco stand, our first wedding with a tent that glowed from within (hey, we're lightchasers). this wasn't the first wedding we felt like we were already friends with the bride and groom, though. these two are so in love and their mexican wedding was perfect. yummy food (like, very very yummy), beautiful family and friends, beautiful backdrop. i especially loved the old mexican western theme. congrats, you two!

this beautiful california couple, adriana and aaron, invited us to photograph their wedding in one of the most beautiful cities we've ever been to: san miguel de allende, mexico. we decided to do a shoot the day before the wedding so we'd be sure we go some photos in sweet light (their ceremony was after sunset) and so we could play around with the city's beautiful colorful backdrops. see images for their awesome wedding here!
