| we have so much to catch-up on. where to start? |
first, anjeli and shawn's new jersey irish indian wedding was featured on the colorful marigolds and mithai
blog: |
| and leah and jonathan's frigid and fun engagement shoot was featured on the ohsosweet ever ours blog: |
| and david has a photo essay on the tea party movement in the most recent issue of TIME magazine. here is just one of three full spreads: |
| and kendrick was interviewed by the new york times lens blog for her ongoing project on sun city, arizona's 50th year. read the interview here. |
| and both of us were interviewed for the national press photographer's association's visual student blog about being a photo couple: |
| and we got to test out our new portable bron lights at a national elvis tribute artist competition in tampa, florida (bron is sponsoring us, which is super exciting because their lights are top-of-the-line and we can take them anywhere off the grid): |
| and we just signed a lease on an ohmygoodness amazing and ohsocute craftsman house super close to east atlanta village (it has TWO bathrooms and a huge backyard and lots of yummy natural light): |
| but even with all those goings-ons we still found time to spot our first live mermaids in weeki wachee, florida: |
| and shake a leg on the beach at sunset. (this one's funny. now we all know why kendrick didn't go pro in ballet and takes photos for a living. to her defense, the only way to stay warm was to dance and she didn't know david was taking video... those 5d markii's are sneaky). brace yourself: |

we're off to the sunshine state on a weekend valentine's date -- photographing a national elvis competition, and mermaids on the way there. for two people who eat, drink and sleep photography, this is the absolute perfect way for us to spend valentine's day:
together. doing what we love to do.
happy valentine's, everyone.
we wish you pounds of chocolate and oodles of smooches.
xo,
us kissin' fools |

jennifer and jay were our last wedding of 2009. we had so many amazing weddings and this one was such a perfect end to our whirlwind season!
|
first off, sorry to be so mysterious, but our beautiful bride is atlanta's food critic the blissful glutton and requested we not show her face here.
the bride and groom got ready at the w hotel in downtown atlanta and were married in one ballroom at the biltmore and had an immaculate reception in another. lemme say, this wedding was to the nines. so many beautiful details-- floating candles in tree branches, a light up dancefloor, there was even a mexican hat dance, it was amazing. (by the way, how cute are the eat, drink and be married cards?!? soontobebrides, you'd be wise to borrow that cute idea)
we also had fun working with the always organized ashley baber and you might have to shake a leg or two when you see who came from the other side of the country to dj for this fantastic crowd... scroll down... |
| in the background, sprinning on his tables, is one of our partners... scroll down s'more through the booty-shakin' crowd... |
| thanks beautiful jennifer and jay, for sharing such a beautiful wedding with us. |
