we hinted at it here, but we can't say enough what a beautiful wedding alison and tam had. the ceremony and reception took place at the seattle asian art museum and it could not have been a more beautiful day with a more beautiful backdrop. alison looked gorgeous -- almost all of her outfit was made by different etsy artists. and her hair? oh my goodness her hair was gorgeous, as you can see. our seattle friends kathleen and austin suggested us to the couple and we're so glad they did. even without tam's broken leg mid-reception, this wedding was unforgettable. these two are so easygoing and fun to be around and the dance floor certainly got a lot of use with some sweet dance moves. thank you so much for sharing your beautiful day with us!

we got to watch this pair's courtship -- even when they were still denying that they were smitten with each other. kevin and amy went to UGA and were in the same photojournalism class that we met in, and, although we unfortunately can't photograph their swiftly approaching wedding, we were so thrilled to do their engagement shoot. amy and kevin are both so laid-back and playful with each other that we had a lot of fun wandering piedmont park and trespassing at a couple photogenic spots, even despite a bee sting and a broken camera mirror during the shoot (kendrick's bad luck double whammy). we've got a pretty good feeling that kevin will be teasing amy and she'll be rolling her eyes right back at him forever. isn't that what love is all about, anyway?

this is a little taste from tam and alison's wedding in the ohsobeautiful seattle. all we can say is, this was an epic wedding. two things that made it unforgettable? oh, drag queens and a broken foot. here is an awesome flying tam mere seconds before his bone betrayed him.

...oh and this photographer's dream? 60 (count them, s-i-x-t-y) packs of polaroid film for guests to use (seized from saddam's palace in iraq, no less, by tam's friend who is in the service). kendrick. was. drooling. here's the beautiful tam and alison in a polaroid collage that we'd been itching to do of a couple for a while.

first off, i know we aren't supposed to pat ourselves on the backs, but this is more of a compliment to tabitha -- how beautiful is the above photo? i think it's one of my all time favorites. she has such a pretty mouth! anyways, if you look at our blog often, you've seen this oh-so-cute couple once before. we'd been looking forward to their wedding because we'd had a lot of fun with their engagement shoot at uga. tabitha and jared are just so sweet and if you spend any time with them, you know they're going to be having fun with each other forever. they had a 4th of july wedding (how 'bout those americana fanny packs? sweet!), with the reception at lake lanier. it was such a beautiful day. one of my favorite parts of the day, besides all the fun portraits we did--that included half the bridal party rolling in the grass--was when the huge bridal party all prayed over the couple. they have such caring and fun friends and family and those bonds really showed.
