OMG! what a brillant day...riley arrived! Jazmin (my new hero) and Richard Blais (Top Chef Contender) just delivered their 7.9 lbs perfect little girl, Riley. i was lucky enough to be invited to photograph the birth. I rushed home to upload some of my favorites so their family members could get a first peek. Congratulations, Blais Family!

riley is not even an hour out of the womb and look at her eyes. she is beautiful.

whit and i had been looking forward to photographing the ritter family after hearing about kelli's (the mom) inspiring parenting style. she has held several workshops in atlanta on "effective parenting" and i have only heard rave reviews. now that gracyn is getting closer to 2, i think i may have to join one : ) the two boys were so personal and enjoyed sharing their playrooms with us. up first- Rylan (making a silly face)

i know...i've said it before and i'm going to say it again... it was one of those PERFECT days- a little windy, sunshine and a whole lotta love! when i walked in and saw rebecca's "idea book", i knew it was going to be "planned to a T". it was a thick binder full of wonderful colors, flowers, imagery, dresses, invites- you name it, it was in there. rebecca and zane had a full day of coverage so it was great to have time to go over this book with rebecca and be "eye-to-eye" with her style. i knew everything she handmade, so i spent some camera time documenting all of her hard work. rebecca and zane were awesome enough to give us plenty of time before the ceremony, so there are a bunch of fabulous images...it was hard to choose. so here are some of my favorites!

i just love offbeat bride blog. we have connected with some very cool brides through this site. i highly recommend it to any bride looking for inspiration. i think merry and mark are technically famous by now for all the press they have received from their wedding. i must say- very well deserved! merry is incredibly talented.

needless to say, these two made it real easy for whit and i. jill and jared were so charismatic and i think it really rubbed off on the photos. we were expecting a down pour so we prepared for rain by calling TAP to see if we could use their brilliant interior (we had some pull since we have photographed their food in the past). luckily, jared had his phone to keep us updated minute-to-minute with the radar. as for the shoot- no rain, all sun!
